Lets Talk RAW – We include the RAW Archival Digital Negatives in our wedding packages but what are they?
Almost all professional photographers shoot in what is called RAW mode on their cameras, this is the highest possible quality a camera can produce. The raw file or “Digital Negative” is equivalent to a film negative.
Once we have the RAW files we copy these to our computer and using special software we can manipulate the white balance, exposure, contrast and do a number of other tweaks to each image.
Once we finish our basic adjustments to the digital negative we then create a high resolution JPEG image that is transferred to another piece of software like Photoshop where we do a lot of our artistic and specialized enhancements.
These edited high resolution JPEG images are then used to create our custom prints, albums and DVD slide shows. But what happens to the original RAW file. A lot of photographers actually just delete them once they are done creating the JPEG image.
We believe the RAW file is just as important as the High Resolution JPEG Image, even more so for archival purposes. Photography trends and styles come and go and you may want some of your wedding images re-edited in 10 or 20 years down the road. You may want a black and white image converted to color, you can only do this with the raw file. You can not turn a black and white JPEG image back into a color image. You can do much more with your images when you own the RAW Archival Digital Negatives.
What is the difference between the High Resolution Images and the low resolution images or printable disk (proofs)?
High resolution images are the absolute best quality for prints. We always provide the highest quality High Resolution Images, this is your wedding and you deserve the best service and best quality.We include all the High Resolution Images in all of our wedding packages.
We include all the High Resolution Images from your engagement session, bridal session and from your wedding day.This gives you the freedom to make enlargements and prints whenever you like. You will be able to keep these High Resolution Images forever.
Low resolution files or “printable disks” are usually only good for proofs up to 5 x 7. Make sure you always get the High Resolution Images and the RAW Archival Digital Negatives.
Can I get all the high resolution images from my engagement session?
YES – absolutely! We Include all the high resolution images
with the printing rights.
When can I get them?
Usually in as little as a few days after the engagement session.
This means you can use these high resolution images to print as
many pictures as you would like for invitations, a sign-in book,
a sign in mat or any other prints you may need for the wedding day.
Can I get all the high resolution images from my Bridal session?
YES, of course. They are included with printing rights.
When can I get them?

Engagement Session
The Engagement Session usually last about an hour at a location of your choice. We include all the high resolution images from your engagement session.
We can provide these high resolution images in as little as a few days so you can have them in time to print your invitations, sign in books and enlargements for your wedding day.
This gives you the freedom and control over your engagement photos. Of course if you would like us to provide professional prints, custom invitations, canvases or other products we will be glad to do this for you.
Bridal Session
Same as the engagement session except the bridal session usually takes a little longer and also includes all the high resolution images. We can usually get these to you in just a few days so you can make as many enlargements and prints as you would like. Again, we are also happy to provide professional prints.
Wedding Albums
All of our packages include a custom wedding album. We have many sizes and styles to choose from.
