RAW Archival Digital Negatives

Almost all professional photographers shoot in what is called RAW mode on their cameras, this is the highest possible quality a camera can produce. The raw file or “Digital Negative” is equivalent to a film negative in the old days.

We use this digital negative to create our high resolution JPEG images then use the high res. image to create our prints, canvases and albums.

We believe the RAW file is just as important as the High Resolution JPEG Image, even more so for archival purposes. Years after your wedding you may want a black and white image converted to color, you can only do this with the raw file. You can not turn a black and white JPEG image back into a color image. You can do much more with your images when you own the RAW Archival Digital Negatives.

High resolution images vs low resolution images ( print resolution disk )

High resolution images are the absolute best quality for prints. We always provide the highest quality High Resolution Images, this is your wedding and you deserve the absolute best image quality.

Low resolution files or “printable disks” are usually only good for proofs up to 4 x 6.    Make sure you always get the High Resolution Images and the RAW Archival Digital Negatives.
